Diplomat and Women’s Rights Activist Marjorie Margolies Talks About Women’s Campaign International

In Empowerment, Human Rights, Podcast, Publisher Channel, womensempowerment by Blessing Enofe

Marjorie Margolies has held many roles, not the least of which is mother of a large family, 25-year host to a refugee family, award-winning journalist, courageous Congresswoman, and women’s rights activist. Leading by example, Margolies serves as President of an organization she says she was asked to start by First Lady Hillary Clinton.

Women’s Campaign International is a program-based advocacy organization designed to instill leadership qualities and champion women in areas of the world where leadership for women isn’t encouraged. The work has been rewarding and the impact remarkable, as this conversation tells us.

Margolies shares her stories with long-time friend, Laura Liswood, author, diversity expert, and facilitator among women world leaders. Podcast host, Mary Kurek, facilitates the interview.
