Kawser Amine worked hard from the time she was a girl to play sports, particularly soccer. It was her dream, and apparently her gift. But, living in Afghanistan, just getting an education was a challenge. She managed both her education and making it to the National League to play soccer in her home country.

Today, Kawser lives in the United States, managing her organization, Women’s Solidarity for Peace and Leadership and launching her soccer academy for kids. She talks with Frontrunners Development President and CEO, Mary Kurek, about her hardships and her work to help create transformation for women in Afghanistan and around the world.
