Bill Shevlin is the CEO of Mavericks Microgrids (and the founder of newly launched Net Zero Beyond) with an aim at filling gaps and solving issues that are inherent in new energy technologies. In so doing, he’s created turnkey systems and packaged energy tech in a way that is more user-friendly. He’s also been partnering with companion technologies that create broad-stroke solutions that solve climate concerns – and, if it feels like he’s got an entire ecosystem going, you aren’t far off. Think EV converter kits, smart 3d printed homes, and a nonprofit foundation to help with the company’s own financing feature. The aim isn’t just to toss up some solar panels and call it a win. He aims for carbon neutral or carbon negative. And, another aim is to help Africa progress toward better and more efficient energy.
