Ramesh Goyal Demonstrates EcoBrick Making to Recycle Plastic Waste

Ramesh Goyal has an extensive background in environmental advocacy and water conservation. His latest project promotes how we can make “eco-bricks” and eliminate plastic waste from entering the waterways. Ramesh, particularly heralded in his homeland of India, has begun this project as a movement to impact those areas of the world where the conservation of water is especially important and to encourage a lifestyle of environmental consciousness. Ramesh is also a leader in the Unity of Nations Action for Climate Change Council, a Frontrunners Development Partner.

Reputed Income Tax Practitioner and senior citizen (73) started Water Conservation Movement in 2008 at the age of 60. Government of India Jalshakti Mantralaya awarded him as “WATER HERO” for June 2020 and his name has also been recorded in the INDIA BOOK OF RECORD 2021 as well as in the OMG BOOK OF RECORD 2021 for Jal Chalisa, There is a confirmatory email dated 4.08.2021 for his record, titled, ‘Grand Master ‘ in Asia Book of Records-next edition.

The Government of Haryana has nominated him as Advisor in State Program Management Unit, Atal Bhujal Yojana to be implemented by the Irrigation and WR department, Haryana on 21st Feb. 2022. He was appointed Global SDG Ambassador by the International NGO Unity of Nations Action for Climate Change Council (UNAccc) in March 2022. UNAccc has also appointed him Director for SDG 4 and SDG 6 with charge of Haryana, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Odisha.

He is the founder and National President of Paryavaran Prerana having units in 17 States. He was National Secretary Environment 2015-16/2018-19 of the unique social organization “Bharat Vikas Parishad,” having 1700 branches throughout the country.

Honored with “Jal Star Award” 2011, District Administration, Several National and State Level organizations honored him with “Social Justice Best Men Award”, “Diamond of India Award”, “Gem of India Award”, “Shri Chitragupt Samman 2017”, “Rashtra Ratan Award” and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Rashtra Nirman Award “Outstanding Award”, Saarthi Jal Yodha Samman, Agra Rattan Award 2018, “Sirsa Gaurav” in Sept.2019. Honored with ‘Vriksh Rattan Samman’ by Swadeshi Samaj Sewa Samittee Ferozabad (UP) in November 2021 and Bharat Mata Abhinandan Samman 2021 by Bharat Mata Abhinandan Sangthan Haryana. He was also honored with International Global Green Award on 21 Dec. 2021 by Life Line Environment Society UP. JAL Shakti Mantralaya announced him ‘’JAL RAKSHAK’’ in August 2020. Life Line Environment Society UP and Somnath Nakshatra Vatika Trust Rajasthan jointly awarded him WATER WARRIOR AWARD 2022 on 26th March 2022. Spot Light Foundation Delhi and Manav Sewa & Shiksha Sansthan Delhi honored him with SPOTLIGHT AWARD 2022 on 27.03.2022.

He started in 2008 by going personally to Government and Private schools, colleges, and other social and religious gatherings to educate regarding the importance of WATER, the reasons for its scarcity, its necessity, and methods of water saving in detail. He has conducted more than 400 such programs throughout the country which include rural areas. More than 4 lakhs students, tutors, and residents throughout the country have been directly educated under his gigantic leap. He has delivered such lectures in several states of India e.g. Haryana, Delhi, Gauhati (Assam), Rameshwaram (Tamil Nadu), Ujjain (M.P.), Varanasi (UP), and Udaipur, Nathdwara, Sri Ganganagar (Rajasthan). The figure crosses over ONE CRORE considering his talks through TV, Doordarshan, Radio, and newspapers.

He has Presided Over, Chief Guest, Chief Orator in more than 30 National level Programmes of different Universities and others including Special Guest of Honor an International Webinar Conference held by UNAccc on World Earth Day on 22.04.2022.

He was CHIEF ORATOR/SPEAKER in more than 50 WEBINAR PROGRAMMES held by including Govt. of India, the Science & Technology Ministry, Govt. of Haryana, and different NGOs relating to the Environment since 2020. He was Key Note Speaker at International Webinar Conference held by UNAccc on World Water Day on 22.03.2022.
