Olusiji Aina is a Development Economist Working to Improve Financial Inclusion and Sustainability
Ambassador Olusiji Aina has a collective string of years in finance, energy, and economic development that puts him at the top of governing leaders’ list for go-to on anything that touches the economy in Nigeria. As a Board Member of the US-Africa Trade Council, Co-Chair of the Kogi State Economic Advisory Council, and the founder of Optiss Ventures, an agribusiness consulting company, headquartered in Lagos, Olusiji’s body of work is impressive and the scale at which he works is huge. That said, his personal mission is very much people-centric. He wants to change the landscape of poverty in Nigeria and elsewhere, and he wants to do it with sustainability as a priority.
In this rich conversation with Frontrunners Innovate Producer and Host, Mary Kurek, Olusiji is joined by Kurek’s Co-Host, Former US Congressman/Former US Ambassador to Denmark, Richard Swett (currently, co-founder and CEO of Climate Prosperity Enterprise Solutions). You’ll notice that Mary and Amb. Swett realize throughout the conversation that there are some open doors for potential projects that provide opportunities for further exploration; an occurrence not uncommon to Frontrunners Innovate.
