It’s women’s history month and we are celebrating the achievements females have made This month we are making the world focus on us (women and girls) as we are breaking the barriers caused by gender stereotypes and “choosing to challenge” as this year’s theme states.
Nankondo Mnyone and Khadija Msumi are perfect examples of girls who are “choosing to challenge” themselves and their societies, through exceptional academic talent and innovative mindsets that bring people together to empower girls and embrace the feminist nature within.
I hope you enjoy this “feminist spotlight” series, as my contribution to this year’s women’s history month.
