To pay tribute to Mrs. Ela Ben Bhatt, a famous social worker who recently passed on the 2nd of November 2022, our own young Frontrunner, Chaitali Sinha, wrote an inspiring poem.
Mrs. Ela Ben Bhatt was a social activist who worked for women’s development and the unorganized sector of Indian society. She also established the famous women’s development association – Self-Employed Women’s Association of India (SEWA). During her lifetime, she received several national and international awards.
Chaitali refers to her as “a big and great personality,” showing how much of an impact she made during her lifetime. Scroll down to read the poem.
Chaitali is a young aspiring design student from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. At the age of 12 years, she was inspired by nature and started writing poems as a hobby. She blogs under the title “Life View Through Poems with Chaitali.” Chaitali is an artist, contributing sketches and doodles that illustrate her poems on the blog. A student of design, she writes stories, converting them into a script, storyboards, or comics, though preferring to write inspirational and informative pieces. Chaitali is interested in the Film and Television Industry and is eager to learn its components and processes, including filmmaking and acting. She is fascinated with color theory, and curious to learn more about various color schemes and the psychological aspects behind them in order to use them in the design field.
