Clare Overmann Helps Higher Education Create Global Partnerships

Clare Overmann is the Head of Higher Education Initiatives at the Institute of International Education.  Her goal is to help campuses worldwide to connect with others for partnerships that could create mutual benefit and spread a culturally healthy perspective within all stakeholders.  The goal is lofty, but, so is the mission of the Institute:

“IIE’s mission is to help people and organizations leverage the power of international education to thrive in today’s interconnected world.”

In partnership with several notable foundations, universities, and corporations, the Institute boasts more than 200 programs impacting 180 countries.  They focus their work in the areas of scholarship, building economies, and opening the doors to opportunities.
